Get started

Set up a wallet on Robinhood Chain, open your first SLEEP position and pick a plan. What you need, step by step, and what each wallet confirmation does.

What you need

  • A browser wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby or the Coinbase Wallet extension. SLEEP finds every wallet extension you have installed and lets you choose one. Smart wallets, such as Coinbase Smart Wallet (the passkey wallet), aren’t supported yet; use a wallet with a recovery phrase.
  • A little ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay network gas for the transactions your wallet sends. Gas for SLEEP’s automated trades is included in its fee.
  • Something to put to SLEEP: USDG to buy a token with, or tokens you already hold. Short on USDG? Get USDG swaps ETH for it.

Open your first position

    Sign in
    Click Sign in, pick your wallet and sign the message. Signing in costs nothing and sends no transaction.

    Pick a token
    Use the card on the home page or browse Explore. Choose Buy to buy with USDG, or Move tokens in to bring tokens you already hold.

    Choose a plan
    Pick a ready-made plan like Moonbag or Protect me, or choose Custom to write your own rules. See every plan.

    Review
    SLEEP shows the plan in plain English with every limit: amounts, trigger prices, the worst price it may accept, fees and expiry. Nothing is signed yet.
  5. 5
    Buy & Sleep
    Confirm in your wallet. SLEEP creates your smart account if you don’t have one, funds the position and registers your rules.

The wallet confirmations

On a live network a new position takes about three confirmations, each waiting for the previous one to land onchain:

  1. The deposit: USDG or your tokens move from your wallet into your smart account.
  2. A signature over your rules. This is the permission SLEEP will work inside.
  3. The transaction that sends it, paid with a little ETH.

Your very first position also sets up your smart account and installs SLEEP on it, which is one extra round. If you stop halfway, anything already confirmed, like the deposit, stays recorded in your position.

After that

You’re done. Your position appears under Positions and every action SLEEP takes shows up in Activity. Read Manage a position to add, withdraw, change the plan or close.
