Risks and limits
What SLEEP does not promise: fills at your exact price, protection from fast markets, or uptime. Know the limits before you put real money to sleep.
Prices and fills
- Triggers fire on the first price update past your level. Chainlink feeds update when the price moves enough or once a day, so a move can be acted on later than the chart suggests.
- In a fast drop, a stop can fill below its trigger, down to your price protection. If the market is beyond that, the trade waits rather than fills.
- Thin pools have real price impact. SLEEP shows it in the quote before you buy.
Token risk
- Tokens priced from their own pool can be moved by someone willing to hold the pool off-market for the whole five-minute window. The deeper the pool, the more that costs; SLEEP flags pools under $250,000 as low liquidity.
- Fee-on-transfer and rebasing tokens aren’t supported.
- SLEEP can’t protect you from a token itself failing.
The service
- If SLEEP is offline, rules don’t fire until it’s back. Your funds stay in your account either way.
- Failed attempts can cost gas, up to the cap you signed.
